This 8mm wide Tungsten Carbide wedding band with 2 mm wide 18k gold inlay offers luxury and affordability. The ring is a pipe cut flat shape design with a shiny polished finish and the inlay is brush finished. The gold inlay is a precious metal and can scratch since, it is not as durable as tungsten carbide. Our tungsten rings do not contain any cobalt. Only superior nickel binder is used. The ring is beautiful. The tungsten is shiny with no nicks or scratches after 9 days of wear. A similar titanium ring showed numerous nicks and scratches after two weeks of wear. The gold inlay band is perfect. It is slightly raised so it is easy to see that it is really a gold band instead of the gold painted racing stripe looking inlay I've seen on other similar rings. Also, the ring has weight, which is what I wanted. Other rings felt like they disappeared on my finger. I know this one is there.My only problem with the ring is the sizing. I have tried many size 8 rings during this search (mostly comfort fit bands) and they all fit the same. This size eight felt loose. I almost sent it back because I was afraid it was going to fall off. After a week it hasn't come close to falling off and I've gotten used to the movement on my finger.
